What: Road Trip to Silver Falls State Park and Mt. Angel Benedictine Brewery

When: Sunday, October 16th, 2022

The Plan: Tesla owners and guests from the region will meet at local Tesla Supercharger locations then gather all together at the Salem OR Superchargers at 11am before heading to Silver Falls State Park arriving about noon. After spending some time at the park for picnicking (BYO lunch) and sightseeing at the park, we'll head to Mt. Angel and the Benedictine Brewery there.

Meet up and Departure schedule from various Tesla locations:

Tesla Service Center near Wash Sq - 48 miles / 1hr 5 min - meet at 9am - depart at 9:45 am
Springfield Superchargers - 61 mi/1hr - meet 9 am - depart at 9:45 am

If you are not interested in meeting and caravanning - just plan on meeting the rest of us at the South Falls Day Use area around noon.

FYI: State Park parking permit - You'll need to buy a daily parking permit for $5 per vehicle.

Upon arrival: Park as a group and introduce yourself. You will need to pack a picnic lunch for yourself, bring a lawn chair, and then be sure to explore the trails Silver Falls Park has to offer.

FYI: Bringing your dog? There is an off-leash section in the day use area, dogs are not permitted on the hiking trails in the canyon by the waterfalls.

Benedictine Brewing

After we've spent 90 minutes or two hours there at Silver Falls, we'll drive over to the Benedictine Brewing company in Mt. Angel, OR. They have snacks and various beverages available. Once we've completed our visit there, you can head home. Info on Benedictine Brewing is available: click here.

So join us for some good company and discussions along the way. Bring your club membership badge with you to help with introductions. Let your Tesla-interested friends and neighbors know about the event too!
